3 Steps for creating visual tags for images on your webpage
Step 1: Install HTML code generated by the wizard on your website
After customizing of your widget setting and generating of widget's HTML code you have to install
it on your website. Copy HTML code from the box in the widget wizard.
Paste widget's HTML code on your webpage. You need to paste the code to the bottom of the page, before
</BODY> tag.
Step 2: Add Taggify Editor to your browser's bookmarks
In order to edit visual tags for images on your webpage you will need to add Taggify Editor bookmarklet
into your browser's bookmarks. For that find Taggify Editor Bookmarklet link at the top right conner
of any Taggify webpage and do RIGHT-click on it. As result context menu will popup. Select the
command named "Bookmark This Link" here.
The best practice is to place Taggify Editor Bookmarklet on
the bookmarks toolbar if your browser has it. It will make access to the editor fast and easy. Last versions of
most popular browsers like Microsoft Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Opera, Apple Safari
have bookmarks toolbars.
Step 3: Add visual tags for images on your website
Now you are ready to add visual tags for images on your website. Open your webpage in the browser.
Click at Taggify Editor Bookmarklet stored in bookmarks of your browser at previous step.
Taggify editor will be loaded and before you start editing you will be asked to authorize. Enter your
login / password those you signed up with.
For creating new visual tag just click on image and holding mouse button drag rectange to having required size. Later
you can resize bounding rectangle by dragging it by handles.
Straight away after you have created new visual tag the widget shows editing form that you have to fill
with tag's details. There is only one obligatory field - the "Title", other fields are optional.
You can use some HTML tags in the "Text" field - <I>, <A>, <B>, <U>, <FONT> and <IMG>.
You can specify the url that visitor will be redirected to (in a new window) when click on the region. The url
has to start from one of standart protocol prefixes - http:// , mailto:, ftp:// .
Also you can specify background color for the tag's tooltip here.
After you finish editing details click Save button at the bottom of the form.
That's all - adding a visual tags describing objects on your images takes a minute using Taggify widget !
