DSP forecast should not be a black box or a decorative simulation. The current architecture separates snapshot reading, explicit recalculation, persisted forecast and publish readiness.
For planning teams, this makes it possible to compare the plan through commercial metrics such as period impacts, reach, frequency, spend and CPM when the contract says they are ready. For operations, pending, blocked or unavailable states should explain what is missing: pricing, planning stats, deliverable schedule or snapshot freshness.
The client-facing advantage is a more mature conversation: the plan is presented with canonical KPIs and clear limitations, not with numbers rebuilt from internal pieces or silent recalculation when opening a screen.
