On February 19, 2013, Julio Chamizo joined Taggify, since then leading the industry in programmatic digital outdoor advertising (pDOOH). On the occasion of his twelfth anniversary, we talked to him about his career, achievements and prospects.

Julio, how would you describe your experience at Taggify during these twelve years?
It was an incredible journey. Since our inception, we set out to innovate in the field of outdoor advertising, and I am proud to say that we have achieved significant milestones. Taggify's evolution has been constant, and being part of this growth has been extremely rewarding.
What do you consider to have been Taggify's most notable achievements in this decade?
One of the most memorable moments was in 2011, when we participated and won in StartupChile, which gave us a relevant boost. In 2015, I assumed the role of CEO, where we consolidated agreements with recognized companies in Latin America, the United States, Europe and Asia. In addition, in 2021, we were recognized by CIO Review as one of the most promising technology companies in Latin America. Recently, in 2023, we renewed our image and website, reflecting our commitment to innovation and creativity in digital outdoor advertising.
How has your role within the company evolved over the years?
I started out focusing on technology development and the creation of innovative products. In 2015, I assumed the position of CEO, managing the financial, commercial and product development areas DSP and SSP. Since 2018, I serve as COO and Product Owner of Out of Home, in Digital Signage, SSP and DSP platforms. This evolution has allowed me to have a comprehensive vision of the company and contribute in various strategic areas.
What challenges have you faced in the digital outdoor advertising sector and how have you overcome them?
One of the main challenges has been the rapid technological evolution and the need to constantly adapt. We have overcome these challenges by staying ahead of the curve, investing in research and development, and listening carefully to our clients' needs. Flexibility and innovativeness have been key to our success.
How do you see the future of Taggify and what are your medium and long-term goals?
Taggify's future is promising. We plan to expand our presence in new markets and continue to develop solutions that simplify and optimize digital outdoor advertising. Our goal is to consolidate our position as a global leader in the sector, offering platforms that generate a positive impact on the industry and the communities where we operate.
